1. Deposit & Vehicle Description Policy

All deposits made to reserve a vehicle are strictly non-refundable.

When a deposit is placed, the vehicle is removed from sale and marked as reserved, meaning we will not advertise it further or allow other customers to view or purchase it. This results in a potential loss of other genuine buyers and time. To protect the business from these losses, all deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

We will hold the vehicle for up to 7 days from the date the deposit is received. If the remaining balance is not paid and the vehicle is not collected within this time frame, we reserve the right to relist the vehicle for sale, and the deposit will be retained to cover administrative and potential sales losses.

All our vehicles are described as accurately and honestly as possible, based on available information at the time of listing. We welcome and encourage all customers to view the vehicle in person or request a video walkaround prior to placing a deposit, to ensure they are completely satisfied with the condition and specifications.

2. Complaints & Returns Policy

Complaints

At Peel common showroom, we aim to provide excellent service and quality vehicles. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase or our service, please get in touch so we can help.

• How to Complain:
Contact us at 01329722030 or info@jmccarsalesltd.co.uk with your details, vehicle information, and a description of the issue.
• Response Times:
We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and work to resolve it within 10 working days.
• Resolution:
We will investigate thoroughly and may offer repairs, replacements, or other solutions.
• Escalation:
If you’re not happy with the outcome, you can use an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service or contact Trading Standards.



3. Returns

We want you to be confident in your vehicle purchase. Our returns policy covers:
• 30-Day Return Window:
You can return your vehicle within 30 days if it develops a significant mechanical or electrical fault not caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, or neglect.
• Condition:
The vehicle must be returned in a similar condition as sold — no new damage, modifications, or excessive mileage.
• Options:
We offer repairs, replacements, or refunds (subject to deductions for usage) if the fault cannot be fixed.
• Exclusions:
Wear and tear items (brakes, tyres, clutch, bulbs, batteries) and damage from accidents or misuse are not covered. Returns due to change of mind are not accepted.

4. Vehicle Description Disclaimer – Peel Common Showroom

At Peel Common Showroom, we aim to provide accurate and detailed descriptions of all our vehicles to help you make an informed decision. However, please note the following:
• Best Efforts:
All vehicle descriptions, including condition, mileage, features, and specifications, are provided to the best of our knowledge based on information available at the time of listing.
• Subject to Change:
Vehicles are used and may be subject to wear and tear, minor cosmetic imperfections, or changes after the description was written. We encourage you to view the vehicle in person or request a detailed video walkaround before placing a deposit.
• No Guarantee:
While we strive for accuracy, Peel Common Showroom cannot guarantee that every detail is completely error-free or that the vehicle is free from faults not apparent at the time of sale.
• Inspection Recommended:
Customers are advised to conduct their own inspection or seek independent advice to ensure the vehicle meets their expectations and requirements.
• Test Drives:
Test drives are encouraged to assess the vehicle’s performance personally before purchase.

By proceeding with a purchase, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and accept it on the basis of the information provided.

5. Finance & Payment Policy – Peel Common Showroom

At Peel Common Showroom, we offer flexible finance options to help you purchase your vehicle with ease. Please read the following important information about our finance and payment terms:

Finance Options
• We provide a range of finance solutions including hire purchase, personal contract purchase (PCP), and personal loans through our trusted finance partners.
• All finance applications are subject to credit approval and affordability assessments by the finance provider.
• We may conduct a credit check as part of the application process. This may affect your credit score.

Payment Terms
• A minimum deposit amount will be required to secure your vehicle when arranging finance.
• The balance of the vehicle price must be paid either by finance agreement or by full payment before the vehicle is released.
• We accept payments via bank transfer or cash, we do not accept bank cards or credit cards .

Finance Agreement
• The finance agreement is a contract between you and the finance provider, not Peel Common Showroom.
• You are responsible for making all payments on time as per your finance agreement.
• Peel Common Showroom is not liable for any finance charges, penalties, or defaults arising from your finance agreement.

Early Settlement
• Early settlement of your finance agreement may be possible through your finance provider. Please contact them directly for details and potential fees.

Non-Financed Purchases
• For purchases made without finance, full payment must be made before the vehicle is collected.
